Common Acts (2020).
Common Acts proposes an alternative educational infrastructure in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Based on a critical reading of the social, economic and territorial ecology that Sunset Park is a part of, the research-design project imagines a civic education through commoning. Four acts of commoning are designed and proposed; The Brownstone Classroom; The Assemble Shed; The Easement Court; And the Civic Estate, as well as the formation of the Sunset Park Commoning Coalition (SPCC).
